The one on the cover is definately not your mothers ;)

Yeah its not the one on the cover cos that photo was a promo shot a year or two before. Hers is however the car used for the interior shots. You can clearly see the seat number in the brochure.

I feel kinda guilty now cos we've kinda hijacked his thread!

I've had both the standard (black 06) and the SE. Wouldn't swap the SE for anything.

There's always one....

There's always one....

well after 3 fabia vrs's and a mk2 octy vrs i was pretty much all skodered out :S

it was actually 12300 quid and had options on it that were not available on the normal vrs, sales were never dwindling on the vrs,i actually think they took it out of production too soon if anything and have lost a lot of sales because of the simple fact that 3 years later there is still no replacment on sale.

Actually the standard model was £12,300 at that point. The SE was selling for £13,000 which is an extra £700 for £2000 worth of kit.

Well talking of a 55 plate silver vRS,

I bought mine two weeks ago for the same price of £5500. But had 65,000 miles on the clock and 1 owner.

Nicely the previous owner had splashed his cash and the car came with alot of extras,

such as Xenon light, built in satnav, cruise control, heated seats, 6 c.d multichanger.

So i think for the money i would have still gone for my silver vRS rather than the SE. :)

i still have the bill of sale,it quite clearly states 12300 quid, both the standard fabia vrs's i bought were 11250

both of mine were way more than 12300

I got one 1st Sept 07 and it was at 13k, the one before was 10k + trade in:

There are some Skoda garages still selling SE's for £10K plus!

well i had a black 04 plate,a yellow 55 plate and a blue 07 plate,some peeps were ripped off i think

Nope, rrp was definitely north of £13k when I bought mine in August '07. Maybe Skoda gradually hiked the price over the course of the year.

IS ANY ONE LOOKING FOR A FABIA VRS SE TO BUY.. ????
