Thanks for the forum to explore what the Skoda world is really like. Fantastic for "isolated" aussie owners.

Columbus satnav is a mystery (I have used GPS systems for 20 years on ground, air and sea) keeps losing itself by up to 100's of km with loss of satellite signal. Intermittent but can be for hours. (I suspect it was dealer fitted)

How can I get a software and firmware version from the Columbus? (no disks with unit)

gday and welcome to briskoda

Welcome from me too. :) I suggest that you repost your query about the Columbus satnav either in the Octavia II forum, or in the ICE, Security and Insurance one. Have a read of the latter first to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Welcome!
