Front caster... adjustable?

Featured Replies

For the last month or so i've had pulling to the left issues. Doing about 30 mph, after about 3-4 seconds It gets rather close to the kerb. I know that a lot of fabias apparently suffer from this, but mine never used to! On a slight negative camber, it goes dead straight, so I don't think its just camber related.

I've had an alignment done previously, and it came out as below. i questioned the fact the castor was out still, but was told it wasn't adjustable!? This true? The same people have aligned my fabia and previous cars before and have always done a spot on job :( :

Oh and when I had my spare on recently when the tyre popped, it wasn't pulling at all! tempted to put it back on lol

would a worn consule bush knock the camber/castor off?

My console bushes are only 12 months old and are the cupra ones, so I'm hoping its not them!

for the amount it is out, i wouldn't bother trying to get it right

and as you say, when you had the other wheel on it drove straight, so that suggests a tyre issue,

try swapping the fronts over, assuming not directional tyres, and see what happens

the only other thing i would mention is, i always set the tracking to zero

+1 for a tyre causing it. The castor angles shown are fine, better than most in fact.

Ahh right okay. Bit strange. It started when my Tr1's were on the way out. Had rainsport 2's fitted, same problem but a bit worse... then my passenger side went pop, and had a new rainsport fitted (first being only a month or 2 old) and its still doing it. Maybe its the drivers side one
