Featured Replies

Hi guys and girls,

Recently purchased my first skoda (although 2nd previous car was golf 1.8t) im looking to replace the filter with induction or cai kit, i bought a bmc kit for the golf but trying to do this on a slightly tighter budget.

Just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction or shall i just bite the bullet and stick with what i know.

For a replacement panel filter you've got the Pipercross, K&N or Green Panel filters to choose from. Out of those the Pipercross is the cheapest, then K&N then Green.

You can get a cold air intake kit (induction kit) off of ebay for about £40 then just replace the crap cone filter it comes with with a decent K&N one. This works out cheaper than the proper induction kits like the Carbonio or APR ones which are about £190 or the CDA like you had in your Golf.

I replaced the OEM filter with a Green panel filter in mine, sounds a bit better but thats all really!
