I'm one of the promise breakers and I apologise. However unfortunately when people cancel your rest days at short notice for silly things promises can't always be met! That said I will check my rota and do my best to make it to this one.

A long shot I know but does anyone going on Sunday have a spare MAF and erm vagcom?? Had my codes read today and one suggests either bad MAF or dodgy MAF wiring. Would be interesting to try a different MAF to the one fitted after clearing codes, going for a spin then seeing what happens.

Long shot but if you don't ask as they say.... could always just get one from VW in Warrington on exchange basis I suppose but 1st way is potentially cheaper!

The MAF is for my mk1 vRS, got fault codes 16486 and 17963 and 01314 :(

Don't think i will be in a fit state to drive,but if i am i can bring Vagcom and a MAF i know is good as i have just replaced mine for a new one.

It is a long shot tho as i'm out in the day time.
