Hello from Heysham

Featured Replies

Just a quick hello to everyone. Been lurking for a few days now and Briskoda seems a friendly place :)

I've just put my name down for a new Fabia vRS, to replace my current motor an MR2 G-LTD, that I'll be picking up in January. Looking forward to the 25mpg extra I should be getting compared to the MR2!

Oh and Heysham is near Morecambe BTW. You've heard of Morecambe right? :rubchin:

Hello and Welcome Kev,

been to Heysham many a time when getting the ferry to the Isle of Man for the TT and when i used to work over on the island.

as you live there i could be asking a favour of you next year when i go to the TT!!!

Hello Kev nice to see someone else from Morecambe, and yes my Fabia is a black vrs too! On my second one so far so i must like em.

Isn't Morecambe the 'up Norf' equivalent of Southend - with miles to walk to the sea when the tide is out? Welcome to Briskoda from someone who has never been there. :D

hello used to live in Lancaster... did notice a few VRS Furby's when I was last visiting the folks I understand David Ian is now a skoda dealer

How do thomo. Can't say i've seen a black vRS locally, only a silver one. Where abouts in Morecambe do you live.

Aye thats right' date=' when the tides out you can walk right across the bay. Not that i'd want to as i'd probably get stuck in the quicksand!

G-LTD - is this the Jap import than is limited to 112mph IIRC ?

I am sure the nieghbour had one

Thats the one chavvy boy. Its actually limited to 180kph which translates to about 112mph. Mine, of course, has been de-ristricted :D

@ thomo - I have an aunty that lives off Oxcliffe. Infact I travel down there on my way to work if im giving my mate a lift!

Yer the next door neighbour had one but had to get shot of it as the car was classed as a grey import and was a b1tch to insure.
