Pete! I went off there on what was only my 2nd run in the Fabia at 75mph! :eek:

With the size of the :dung: in my overalls when I got back to the pits, I had to be lifted out of the car, by three big blokes and a JCB!

All I would say from my experiences at the circuit is, DON'T lift off going through this bend IF you are carrying a lot of speed! It WILL bite you, and there are a lot of rabbit holes and divets to potentially give you that 'Jason on the Horse Shoe Pass' type experience. :eek: It may look like a nice friendly forgiving run off area...but it's got hidden secrets..be warned.

If you do go off, try and keep the car as straight as possible, and brake VERY gently to reduce the possibility of a possible dire consequence sideways slide.

Well I could reply, but as I'm not going to be there there isn't much point :P

ffelan in the red baron went off, ran out of track..don't know what speed but he was on slicks aswell...we followed him round (Jon was driving) and he was not hanging about.

But yes lifting is bad and it's a false apex, the joy of this circuit is it takes no time to know where your going; plenty to be quick. Do not be surprised when CJ's fabia is glued behind you if he gets the lines right (which he will) flipping heck you can get so much speed

Be aware...baaa they will tell you all this on sunday.

Will actually be in the little red beast this weekend (AX) and yes you're right Col, it will be going around the corners very well indeed! That's it's virtue, it handles like a go kart and suspect it'll be right up the chuff of most stuff through the bends....the straights however oh dear :wave23d: as you go by!
