Octavia 2.0 Tdi CR VRS as a company car

Featured Replies

And on the vRS, bluetooth is only available on the DSG...

It gets more and more bizzare. lol

If by bizarre you mean stupid, then I agree... Why did someone in Skoda UK decide that vRS drivers with a manual gearbox shouldn't be allowed to make a phone call...

Yes very stupid, maybe they thought working the shifter was a big enough distraction. lol

Been for a test drive today (57 plate VRS) and mind is made up. FL Octavia VRS in white (saw one waiting to go out and it look stunning in white).

Not going to order any extra's other than a spare wheel. Might buy a Columbus sat nav in the future and stick it in if it's an easy job.

Would have liked some audio control on the steering wheel but thats not an option as I don't want DSG.

Might be worth adding Maxidot if you're going to go the Columbus route at a later date... I believe the two hook in with each other quite nicely, gives you the directions on the maxidot display as well as the Columbus. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Great choice of colour. Is that a 5dr or an estate? I know what you mean by a multi function wheel, it is probably one feature where Skoda are behind the competition, that is lack of MFSW on ALL cars. I too would want it but have gone for manual not DSG.

5dr  Shame about the wheel but can't win em all. Might consider Maxidot.

It is frustrating as there are plenty of 3-spoke MFSW's floating around the VW/Audi stable and it really can't cost that much to put a Skoda branded air bag in to one (from a manufacturing point of view).

The VRS hatchback is on my company car list and i'm very tempted !

Oh no....bang goes the exclusivity. Soon every tom **** and harry will be driving one...
