Hi All'

Got the train down to London today to collect my Yeti.

It's been a long wait from ordering back on 18th Decenber but picked up my muscovado snow monster today.

Wasn't dissapointed at all, great motor, handles beautifully, 5 hours drive back to Wirral through congested M6, no problems.

Comfy seats, great ride position, realy like it and 45mpg on the way back for first 220 miles.

The sunroof is brilliant, floods the cabin with light and works a treat with the built in wind deflector.

Well I suppose 18 Dec to 16 April is more like 18 weeks with two weeks off for Christmas.

Was it worth the wait, - no way dude, it’s far too long

but its Hobson’s choice and I'm not disappointed.

Couldn’t work out were the filler cap release was in the service station so had to get out the manual to discover there isnt one,

you go outside and press the cover to open the cap.

By then there was a big queue behind me in the station -oops!

-and I had the filler on the wrong side of the pump!

its the CR 140 diesel, suprisingly quite compared to the Seat 1.9PD I used to have.

Hearty congratulations David, thanks for the pictures. You say you picked it up from London, mine was ordered through Marlborough of Isleworth I wonder if you got yours through them. What was your experience with the dealership anyway, PDI, paperwork etc. Cheers P-Y

Yes it was Marlborough, a big dealership. I bought the Yeti via drive the deal.

Met Kuldip who I had been dealing with me via email.

All papers there, car was ready for me, I checked all the extras and everything was there, so no problems.

I think five Yetis went out on Friday, people had been waiting a while for them.

I'm sure there are more of course but they must be hiding somewhere.

First one I've seen in Muscovado other then looking at the colour in the brochure or the dealer's sample. Looks really good and, as i've got one in this colour on order, I'm delighted too!

I saw this car while riding my bike in North Wales yesterday, possibly on the A5104 near Treuddyn? You overtook with some care and it was appreciated (it doesn't always happen)

Yup that was me, off to Bala via the A5104.

I always give cyclists a wide berth.

I'll have to be even more careful how I drive now I've let known my Reg.

I wonder if the other (2nd) Yeti I spotted is owned by someone on here? Parked in the Boathouse pub car park today? My silver FL Octavia vRS was already parked in the car park and when I got back it'd been joined by the Yeti
