HELLO Can somebody save my a fortune and tell me how to turn my ESP of and my ABS of ,First thing that happened is the ESP light switch on and stayed on then when braking i can feel the brake pedal judder when pressed hard ? cheeked my brake pads to find the back ones need replacing thought this would solve the problem sill the same ?

well, not that its the best thing to do but as a temorary solution (if abs light comes up while brakes juddering) - unclip one of the abs sensors. this will keep it from cutting in (you describe the problem as abs cutting in when its not needed).

else, it could be warped brake discs from the pads dragging on the disc and heating it up. if they are good discs, have them skimmed, else buy a new set with pads.

ESP, if you do a little search youl find there is a clip that pulls away from its wires. (diagnosed as, when you turn on the ignition your not seeing a battery light come up).

or linkey poos, power wash your axles in case there is gritting in the castle rings.

P.S a fault code reading would help you a lot, look on the VCDS/VAGCOM map on this forum to find someone local to you who can do fault readings.
