glow plugs and felicia not starting;-(

Featured Replies

O.k, to go along with the other problems my car is having at the moment - it is now refusing to start!

It was fine last time I drove it, but today when I went to start it, it won't. The engine turns, but won't fire. ALso the glow plug light won't come on. It's been a little tempermental for over a year (the glow plug light - the plugs and battery were changed last year). When I turn on the ignition on the light comes on and goes off quickly. If I do it again, it stays on longer and starts normally. Am I right in thinking it's electrical?

I'm so fed up with my car at the moment. I think the feelings mutual, evertime I get in or out I get an electric shock...

Ay help gratefully received..

Thanks ;-)

try disconnecting the engine coolant temp sensor and starting it, it sounds like yours may be faulty.. tis where i would start from anyway
