I picked a car that was in the schedule for build with no owner allocated, candy white 170CR with a spare wheel hence why so quick. That said I have been waiting 6months for my replacement car as I ordered a Golf GTTDi and after 5months and no confirmed build date I gave up!!!

The other plus point is its on;y going to cost me £23 a month, the joy's of subsidised cars!! I'm off to hide from all the rocks that are about to be thrown!!

This weekend for mine but then again i've been waiting since Jan 28th

mine enters construction in week 21, so another 3 weeks before its even built. It best get here soon, I'm desperate for a new motor

Mine has now been ready -ish for collection since Thursday gone.

However, no paperwork from the DVLA will probably mean I wont get it until AT LEAST tuesday now, and I reckon Wednesday.

Knowing my luck it'll be ready Tuesday night and I've got a vets appointment to take care of.

I finally have it!!! 10days with it sitting at the dealer and with the added bonus of rear parking sensors free of charge.

Off out for a driver after dinner, not done that for ages just going for the sake of a drive with no destination in mind.

Free parking sensors?!

Yep free, I picked a car in the schedule which just had a spare wheel. They missed out securing that car and the next candy had parking sensors specified so they had that one instead.

Roads are quite good out this way so will get the candy dirty!!!

Well excited myself now chose my number plate today and I collect mine from Edinburgh at the start of next week, it was a week 16 build i think, its my 2nd one with a vectra sri in between, it was a **** car big mistake,.

Its a VRS petrol estate in race blue with sunset glass and silver rails and spare wheel, getting that autoglym lifeshine stuff so it should be nice and shiny. Already have it booked in for a custom remap at torquetronix so it should be a flying machine when they are done (it was either that or a motor bike and the missus was not happy about a bike) . Got a week in N Ireland with the inlaws at the same time as the Remap so going to have a ball as some of the roads over there are amazing. I was going to get a white one but the missus was not happy with it, white is stunning just now I must say but will it still be as desirable in a couple of years ??????

Anyone know if the standard alarm / imob is CAT 1 or not, it's kind of hard to find out, the Thatcham website have the Scouts listed as CAT 1 and also Skoda Security System 1 and Skoda Security System IV SK-FI are showing as CAT1 any idea whats fitted to the VRS as it would help keep the insurance down.

Cheers for that, should save me a few pennies to put towards my retro fit sat nav and bluetooth, still can't believe you have to get DSG to get bluetooth thats mental.

Just get a Fiscon instead. I have it on very good authority that it is rather good indeed.
