Why?

WHY ARE THERE NO EVENTS DOWN HERE FOR US Vrs OWNERS, WHERE I LIVE I KNOW OF QUITE A LARGE NUMBER OF OCTY AND FURBY DRIVERS, THEY'RE JUST AS EAGER TO SHOW OFF THEIR PRIDE AND JOY'S AS THE REST OF THE COUNTRY. SEEMS A BIT UNFAIR

Hello Raceylace , I doubt you will get too many replies to your question , as it's very difficult to read ........ :D

One of our top posters is from Devon .........Jason AKA Devonutopia and he comes to most events , although I think you are right in saying that we haven't as yet had a meet in Devon or Cornwall .........but there's a first time for everything :D

Indeed if you read the end of the National meet thread, the suggestion was made that the next one should be in the Southern half of the country - and even Thruxton was suggested. Motorsport venues don't come much closer to you than that!

i am hoping this is easier to read. i have had my octavia vrs superchiped up to around 240bhp, i am itching to give her a true run, the roads down here arnt really fair on the car, she is asking to go all the time you can feel it ( and hear it most of the time). i know its acceleration is awsome but would love to really let rip.

Try living "up north". I mean the real north, not Liverpool / Manchester.

You're not the only one who has to travel for Briskoda events...many of us have and do, because it's a bloody good laugh, as those who attended Anglesey will agree :)

You could always organise something yourself. ;)

Whereabouts in Cornwall? top end or bottom end?

Meets are usually fairly central, as we have members all over the country and have to hit as many as possible.

Local meets are a good idea, I know there are NW meets for those in the Manchester area, the NE lot arrange their own meets, as do the Cumbrian lot and the KEnt guys. The South West seems fairly quiet, we do not have many members here and those that we do have are fairly spread out.

National meets are usually held in the Midlands so that people like you and the guys from the North East can attend, as I say, as many people as possible. Yes, it is inconvenient and a long drive, but, it is well worth it.

We need to get JAson to sort out his house warming party
