She sounds like a clever one so "stay" or "wait" should be a doddle. :)

My hound is pretty well trained but simply cannot contain himself on going on a trip in the Yeti. There again he's the same with the Roomster and dare I say it, the in laws' Toyota. Just try holding him back!

He really likes going in the car. Luckily he does dog agility and so is able to leap over the bumper and straight in, despite only being a smallish Staffie. Will probably need something more substantial than the stick on silver plastic strip when he gets a bit older.

See if hatchbag will do you just a bumper flap...thick plastic sheet with a long strip of velcro you can stick to the boot floor, then just fold it out and presto.

I have a boot flap cover anyway so will use that. The outgoing Mondeo had a clear viny strip covering the top of the bumper and has definately saved it from serious scratching

Have just ordered the bumper protector from this website (actually has the yeti listed on the website!). Will let you know if it's any good. Cost £23.99 with postage...

Well this turned out to be a SUPERB product. Made of super, super tough vinyl, it velcros to the boot floor and just rolls out over the bumper. Never known such a tough material. Fantastic.

Another vote for ventureshield - many suppliers and easy to fit. Google it!

How well does ventureshield stick to the textured rear bumper?
