Looks very nice Bill, nothing wrong with a bit or detailing!

Is that an after market intercooler and what is that thing about the head unit????

Cheers mate

The FMIC has only been on a couple of weeks... I bought it from jabbasport but its made by Pro Alloy.

Just wish I'd fitted one sooner, the difference between how the car drives/performes now compared to how it was with the smic fitted is fantastic....much better than I'd have ever thought possible (not sure why the FMIC is making such a difference, but perhaps the smic becomes a bit of a bottle neck on remapped/overboosted engines).

The head unit thing is just I moved it down one space into where the "cubby hole" used to be and custom made my own liquid gauge mounting plate to go where the head unit was originally.

Heres a pic of the FMIC and the liquid gauge mount.

That liquid gauge install is very smart! Love the small vrs badge on it too....where did you get that from? Cheers.

The vRS badge is Skoda tie pin (can be bought from any Skoda dealer), I just cut the pin off and stuck the badge on with double sided tape.

That FMIC looks like a nice piece of kit.

And if it makes that much difference that shows you don't need to butcher the crash bar to get the benefit. :)

After having that bar off and realising how heavy and solid it is I wouldn't want to cut it.

I agree about the crash bar and I dont think I will be cutting mine either

I had intended to run the car back down to jabbasport and have them tweek the map but theres no point at the moment, I'm happy with it the way it is..... it really does drive/perform like its got a new map on it now....its that good
