Anyone interested in some go kart racing sometime in 2005?

At the moment, I'm thinking along the lines of:

* Colchester (If I'm organising, it's going to be local to me )

* Qualifying, heats, grand final (probably some prizes) but done so everyone gets maximum track time

* Fairly expensive due to the above...

Just fishing for interest right now..... might be a fun way to pass a dark winter evening...

i love go karting even if i ain't the fastest about so i would love to go, might be the first "track meet" i actually make it to too

It was enough for me I tell ya.

Was getting 28 sec laps on the tight twisty indoor circuit, was hard work for me being the larger boned variety of chap, I was wearing the kart rather than racing it, and despite the weight disadvantage was one a sec off the fastest lap.

Good track, not quite as fast as Daytona in M.K but it made for good racing as it evened everyone out.

Daytona in MK is a great track. Raced there few times. Also had a one off appearance there from Alan McNish. Needless to say, he kicked everyones backsides! :eek: Top bloke too. Such a shame he never made it in F1.
