vRS standard suspension on a Leon TDI

Hi, I have just changed the springs on my vRS and plan to put my old vRS standard suspension on my mates Leon TDI today. They are both 04 plates.

I know that the TT, Golf, A3, Leon, and Octavia all share a lot of their underpinnings, but does anyone know if these will pop straight on?

Unlikely I think. The vRS suspension is different to that of the standard petrol and diesel Octys.

Also the diesel engine is somewhat heavier than the 1.8T lump so you can't just swap the springs and expect things to work :'(
