Question About FMIC's

Featured Replies

Don't FMIC's reduce airflow to the radiator?

Isn't this a bad thing?

Yes and yes.

I say this with caution though as although the flow to the radiator is reduced hence the cooling effect is not as good. Only in extreme cases i.e. constant track use etc. would you need to think about either getting an uprated performance radiator or create a custom re-route of the air flow in to the radiator to aid the cooling.

Thanks! :D

Yes it's bad because it's fugging ugly.

That plus the lack of air filters on the turbo's mean a nice short life.

Yep because that looks like it was built for longevity and reliability ;)
