I would be quite interested in this too. However I would prefer a "standard boost" with the tuned map on top. Day to day only 100BHP would p1ss me off.

It most definately need to me a button like this...

How Soon B)

Hi All,

I have just been reading these posts and am very interested. I am currently fitting a PC into my mk1 Octavia VRS running Centrafuse front end to give me the ECU data and was wondering if anyone has come across a system using an in car pc to switch between engine maps as this is something I am really interested in fitting?

Thanks

You can use VCDS to change ecu maps, you could do this using your in car pc...

Jabba! bit of a bump here!

Looking at the price of fuel atm would be ideal to start selling this as a good MPG buster!

Map 1 - POWER

Map 2 - MPG

I know i am Still V.intrested in this. its all about the installation and how it will look

Can you make it a Vrs Button like the new Insignia Vxr has a Vxr button?

Didn't think this was possible with the EDC15 :S

Map 1 - POWER

Map 2 - MPG

Second that.

This is really interesting stuff. Currently getting remap quotes from around my area (Yorkshire) for my mk1 Octy vRS.

Been doing a bit of researching on NOS kits. Google has just brought this up, so I'm going to have a 'holy thread revival Batman' moment and bring this one back from the dead!

Did anything ever come of this?

As Jabba clearly demonstrated a system that was capable of instant map switches. This would be ideal for NOS application. A normal map for everyday driving and as good smoke levels as you can get, then another with all the extra fuelling required for a 50/75bhp shot of NOS...

I'm quite surprised that this thread went quiet.

I still think they should have done a vRS button :)

Heard about it being done by a couple of people. Basically have 2 eeproms inside the ecu then use a switch to switch between the 2. Guessing this is how Jabba did it.

Knowing nothing about electronics the above statement means nothing to me I'm afraid John!!! :D

Do one for me please John ;)

Affraid not :(

Oh John...  :(  :'(  :'(

Email to Jabba it is then!...
