IIRC doesnt Fat32 (and poss ntfs) only support a maximum path depth of 255 chars?

That rings some sort of bell, along the lines that the Win32 API only supports 265-char long paths. Even if it does, though, you can use the native API (have a look in the DDK for details).

But it's only a very vague recollection and even the Win32 API may be OK.

Would possibly explain that its ok on the unix server and not winblows..... Unix has a bit of a larger file depth 65536 or something isnt it?
