What's wrong in this picture?

i'd say if its better with the half oem one its gotta be the citroen one and you cant really damage anything tugging the oem one off.

Hello,

I'm sorry I beg to differ, very high chance of mashing threads in base unit, being an antitheft deterrent, to completely tug/remove aerial stalk.

I feel for you mate. I absolutely fooking hate it when people can't respect my or anyone elses property.

I know what you're going through. When I was 17 I had a *ahem* Rover but it was my pride and joy. It had gorgeous, well polished/waxed bright red paintwork, and I did lots of tasteful mods to it and yet it got kicked, scratched and all sorts regularly. It's ridiculous...

Chin up, from every bad there will come a good :)

Best wishes.

Sorry the stubby lost your reception mate..

I bought one of the older Sharan Replicas a couple of years back and it works ok, but not as good as the original and I'm on London so quite flat. I'd hoped the Citroen part was a better alternative but it sounds like it's not.

If your still planning on replacing the snapped one, have a look in the SEAT part sticky.. they do a 3/4 length version of the original.. so still factory quality but a little bit shorter.

I think I read somewhere that all the VAG cars still with antenna's have them fitted now.

to be honest the look/size of the OEM aerial was not a problem......until it was snapped in half

having seen a few people say the Citreon one was as good, and one was going cheap, i thought i'd give it a go

no score.

you live and learn - however should someone want a stubby look and isn't bothered about the radio the citreon one does the job superbly!
