Octavia vRS+

Featured Replies

Maybe it will just be a few styling points but LED rear lights would be a worthy upgrade IMO.

The front splitter looks straight from the pre facelift model, the wheels look straight from a Massey Ferguson.......now I for hope for more serious bits too like brake upgrades, exhaust options.

Both the Fabia and Octavia will be on the Skoda stand at the Wörthersee GTI show from Wednesday. Pictures to follow

Unfortunately I expect it'll just be another "brand building" exercise ie to raise the profile rather than offering anything that you could actually order..

Maybe I'm just cynical, but the have already done a pre-FL RS+ that never made production.. I would have LOVED to be able to spec those tasty recaro's but it wasn't possible. Maybe i'm in the minority!

Forgot about those seats

I think this is where Skoda arent sure how to pitch themselves. On one hand they are selling more cars than ever to a more mature market (await pictures of cocks posted) but on the other hand there is a loyal band of modifying fans out there.

Chinese LED rear lights are kind of interesting.

I find the last paragraph there really strange, they say the changes are mainly cosmetic and then that Skoda are trying to generate performance kudos...surely improving the performance rather than looks would be the best way to do that.

I'm sure i remember the pre-FL RS+ having a carbon (probably plastic) rear diffuser. Has anyone actually fitted one of these?, as IIRC they're on superskoda at a slightly eye watering price.

The real news here is that Skoda have enlisted the services of a 17 year old with a copy of Photoshop.

Yes I agree. I actually love the look of this RS+ car, even though the wheels would be a bugger to keep clean and notice horribly if they were kerbed, and of course those plastic stickers would no doubt be peeling in a couple of years, but combine that look with a bit better performance just in terms of tuning (which of course would lessen mpg, but the niche market wouldn't care about that) and they would have another sure-fire winner...

I think it looks seriously tacky. What's the point? Crap wheels, massive arch gaps, headlights are unnecessary, spoiler / splitter thing looks awful.

Got to be about the worst looking car in Worthersee?

i dont think it looks too bad. the green alloys are a big no no, as is the black grill. colour coded gril would look better, and some black alloys

Oh dear, fluro wheels..............its probably called an EVO..........

any of the fabia photos? I cant find them anywhere on google yet :p

doesnt look tooooo bad! I did have an impression that the grill was going to be a smoked chrome from the renders that skoda produced.

Do you think anyone told that girl in the pic that she was having a judy finnigan moment :giggle:

I didn't even notice them, I was so distracted with the fugly car! I  boobs

PMSL - I didn't either! Jesus how sad!!!

apart from the terrible colour scheme its not that bad. I like the splitter....................I wonder if skoda will sell this?

Black alloys and I would have liked that in great amounts.

Elsewhere at Worthersee, some Belgiques show Skoda how it's done....

If you find one of those two when you unzip the seats, then I'd be far more interested.

On the wheel comments, you know what they say. If it ain't rubbin, it ain't dubbin :)

I like how the girls are wearing lime green and grey yet totally don't match the car colours. :giggle:

How you manage to compare her with Judy Finnigan is beyond me - I don't even think Wayne Rooney would go for Judy Finnigan

personally i think that octavia looks mint , just needs the wheels painting black. the front lip spoiler grey paint black grill it all looks cool. there are too many vrs around that just look like every other vrs, that one stands out.
