Annoyed with the other half

Featured Replies

Few weeks ago the GF and I was having a nice country drive. Stopped to grab some drinks. on the way home she went to have some and somehow missed her mouth! split banana milk shake on the seat and carpet.

Now she knows the car comes first and was aplogising left, right, centre. I told he its fine dont worry about it.

Pulled up at mine, told her to stay here for a minute. Ran inside and returned with the car cleaning kit, and told her she can clean it up.

she was out there for over an hour :giggle:

Harsh...yes

Lesson learnt...yes

Just need to be firm somethings

Good work my friend!!

I fully support you in your decision to educate her.:rofl::rofl:

Hey,

Right so the other night my "better half" was off on a night out and asked if i would drop her off in town in my VRS....yeah sure no problem let me know when you want to go........Well a few hours latter out she comes ready to go out fake tan and all in a small dress looking fantastic if i do say so myself.....

We get into the car and i turn to her and say that fake tan wont come off will it!?!?! No No she told me it was dry and would not come off....We get to town and she hops out and you guessed it i look at the seats and there is fake tan all the way down both side bolsters seat base and centre section.... :( :o

So i run after her and have a few words..........turns out it comes out with water and was ok once i spent a good hour scrubbing them down with a new white cotton cloth...

Now she said i over reacted and they are only car seats, and i said well when you love you car look after it as an investment it does matter and they are more than just seats......

In the end i just let it go and got a seat cover for next time but still.....

Dave

Maybe better to have mentioned it in a quieter moment. Overreacted, nope, but possibly you could have managed the situation better. Left it till the next morning or something...

I added my other half to the insurance, a month later and she smashed the car up.

I learnt a valuble lesson from said mistake and she learnt how to catch the bus! ;)

still catching the bus now actually ten months on.

Don't focus too much on the material trivialities of life! Surely an enduring relationship is vastly more enriching than considerations about minor car issues.

It takes 30 mins about a few tears to end a relationship.

3 hours of blood sweat and tears (if your lucky) to clean those seats!
