...and like most of the kit on Superskoda, they will no doubt be overpriced to begin with and then you add the delivery charge and..........bam! Credit card meltdown. SS need to reduce their prices and shipping by a fair amount and this appears to be a common complaint!

And if they don't work they won't want to know.....

And if they don't work they won't want to know.....

Thats one of the reasons (along with extortionate prices) that i refuse to use SuperSkoda.

Apparently their customer service is shocking

I wanted a vRS Lanyard for 6 quid.....they wanted 30 euros for shipping and would not budge!! ridiculous!

Oh ye of little faith, I should of thought you could do it with a set of spanners and a trolley jack!!

As LED rear lights are an option on Octy's in China you may find that http://www.skodateile.cz/ can source the genuine item...

Can't disagree with that! See here.

Should have asked me mate I could have given you links to LED SMD bulbs that slot in and work ( I have them in my car )

Would have cost you about £30 for 2 cars worth.

I'd really like one of the Octavia lanyards they have actually, where did you get yours from in the end?

John

linky?

These for the Map Reading Lights

Map Lights

These for the Festoon Style between the map reading lights and the rear light (you will need to buy 2)

44mm Festoon

Total cost would be

1 Car = £15.47 Delivered

2 Cars = £30.94 Delivered

Thats where i got mine from

I've just followed the link and saw this:-

Some new car like BMW have sensor can detect bulbs blown. If your car has this kind sensor or warning indication, these LED bulbs will not work on your car unless you fit new resistor to get the same power rate as the old filament bulbs.

Did you get any canbus errors after fitting them?

The interior lights are not monitored by the BFWS so you will be fine.

If you stick them in your sidelights you will however

Whats the 'BFWS'?

Sorry

BFWS = Bulb Failure Warning System (CanBus Error but not everyone understands that)
