Just had my long anticipated call from the dealer, yeti on transporter and due into them Monday! I can collect Thursday/ Friday.

A day off is booked. 3 months to the day after I paid my deposit and placed my order.

We're off to the dealer to place our order on Wednesday, disving down in both cars, leaving her's as the deposit and then leaving mine as the rest of the deposit upon collection.

After a 10 week wait, my Yeti rolled off the lorry at the dealers today :-)

After a little visit to say hello (Yeti was still in its travel PJ's - so a bit shy) I'm going to pick it up on Friday.

Then had fun and games trying to explain what colour Muscovado is to the insurance company... Dark Brown it is then.

Second pleasant surprise was when Tesco said its cheeper to insure a 170bhp Elegance than a 140bhp Scout Elegance - go figure that one out. :-/

Well you made a far better choice coming this way I think. But then I might be a bit biased. The Cashcow is just so ubiquitous these days. Beautiful car though, especially after the recent facelift, but you can just see it is tiny from the outside. The whole thing looks cramped to me for people and luggage. I know it is not really that small, but the Yeti just looks right and has SOOOO much road presence! It just looks soooo wide and planted. Enjoy the wait (if such a thing is possible!)

No, I'm not bothering with Ms Robinson, I am pursuing another line of enquiry :p

and the 170hp engine is not automatic, so its going to be the 140hp.
