u got a build date on day of order, im still waiting after 8 weeks for a date :S ....

Build date is about the 1st week of Aug and delivery before November

so how can build date be 1st week aug.....and del before nov.....build to delivery is normally 3-4 weeks so im informed..seems everyone is getting diff information???

Thats the latest they will deliver....probably a LOT sooner,

I could carry on posting madly but I will slow down, just a tat mind you :p

After a 10 week wait, my Yeti rolled off the lorry at the dealers today :-)

After a little visit to say hello (Yeti was still in its travel PJ's - so a bit shy) I'm going to pick it up on Friday.

Then had fun and games trying to explain what colour Muscovado is to the insurance company... Dark Brown it is then.

Second pleasant surprise was when Tesco said its cheeper to insure a 170bhp Elegance than a 140bhp Scout Elegance - go figure that one out. :-/

Well done to all this week's new deliveries. It will have been worth the wait and it's the UK Bank Holiday weekend too.

Regarding insurance, although I have a company car I needed to use my Yeti for work last week and called my insurance company (Saga!) to see how much extra it would cost for the remaining 9 months of the policy. 94p....good value or what?

Collected mine today and so far so good.

Brought it for a 100km round trip on main and secondary National roads as well as our pothole ridden unclassified road (country lane or boreen) and enjoyed the experience. Driving position was not easy to get and arm rests are IMO in the wrong place, particularly the door as it's too low.

Love it!

2.0 tdi SE 2wd in muscovado. The colour looks great and changes with the light.

Drives lovely, averaged 49mpg over the 70 miles driven today.

Pulls well, love the park assist extra, great toy though I nearly **** myself the first time I let it park itself even though it was in a gap large enough for a car transporter lol

love the dual climate control and impressed that I have daytime running lights as I don't recall them in the spec. Makes the car stand out on the road.

It also feels much bigger than in the showroom, it really feels freelander sized.

Swapped from a golf so the controls are almost identical. Everything feels good quality and falls to hand.

The driving position, being higher, does need a little getting used to but I love the visibility and you really notice this at junctions when you have a better view of the road.

The pinprick spotlights that are hidden in the courtesy lights are a neat touch and illuminate the radio console very well.

I can honestly say I'm chuffed to bits with Betty the Yeti!

Still over the moon with Betty the Yeti....

Been to Cotswolds today and over 54 miles I averaged 60.9 mpg I'm over the moon with this!

Just had my long anticipated call from the dealer, yeti on transporter and due into them Monday! I can collect Thursday/ Friday.

A day off is booked. 3 months to the day after I paid my deposit and placed my order.

Woohoo!!!

Lucky you, ordered my yeti on the 2nd april have a delivery date of the first week in july , seems like 3 months is the norm for these cars.. There must be loads of people all waiting for these, reckon you will go from seeing hardly any on the road to seeing lots all around the same time. Hopefully they are worth the wait...

No rattles or screen probs yet, fingers crossed.

The journey was a very up and down mix of A roads so I was delighted with my 60+ mpg.

I do have the 5 speed 110bhp engine though mated to 2WD not the 4WD like most.

Economy was very high on my list hence this engine choice but looks like I made a good choice!
