It's a full size tripod that was attached with gaffa taped glass suckers on two of the legs and a 'soft' end on the other. Yes it was removed from the end photos courtesy of Photoshop!

What rubber came on the other new recent cars, mine was dunlop, noise not too bad for 18" rims

Mine came with Dunlops - got it in October.

The edges seem to wear unevenly and get noiser over time.

Conti Sport2 on mine and its just 20 days old.

Yep you can hear them but theyre not that intrusive.

Had them on other vehicles and always been happy with them

Got my red VRS 10 days ago. It's got Dunlops. Agree about road noise, but used to Fiesta ST general racket so no problem! The car is fabulous. I run the ST on Avon ZZ3 which I rate highly.

Mine came with Dunlops - got it in October.

At the dealers yesterday noticed that their vRS demonstrator had Dunlop Sport Maxx GTs on it, whilst mine are the Dunlop Sport Maxx.

They are a different tread pattern, but I am surprised that both standards of the Sport Maxx are suitable for the vRS.

they're both suitable in that they are noisey and don't last long
