Can the Fabia 1.9 SDi have the driver-door-first and over-7mph door closing feature setup by a dealer etc?

I own an Octavia vRS for which I have had the 'security' locking feature set up by my dealer. I'm now considering a Fabia 1.9 SDi for my girlfriend and would be interested in these features for her safety.

Given they all use VAG ECU's I don't see any reason why it can't be done. Having looked on the Ross-Tech website, they all seem to work in pretty much the same way so ask the dealers, if not find someone local with Vag-Com.

Correct, the cars I was looking at had 'Classic' trim, which I believe, after consulting Skoda's UK site, does NOT have remote central locking (but does it have some form of central locking?). The Comfort level might be the one to go for, I'll head down to my local dealer

It's worth a try to see. If it has central locking (remote or otherwise) in theory the answer is yes.

Somewhat off the point I know, but the pdi diesels are so much better than the SDi's if you can find the extra cash.
