Need to replace the Girl friends car

Featured Replies

Currently my girl friend has a Ford Sport KA SE,

Stunning little car for the money, however shes had it two years, although its only done 40k (53 plate) She needs something a little bigger and better on petrol/derv.

Any suggestions? I want to spend as little as poss, so no more than £3500-£4000, or around that region. Hoping to trade in the KA and put a little more on top.

Cheers,

Focus or Citroen C4, 1.6HDI (TDCI) same engine.

Would i be biased in saying a 1.4tdi fabia? :giggle:

I'd be quite happy to drive one of them again, I really liked mine.

Vectra. They're not that bad and cheap as chips.

You'll get the newer 1.9 derv if you don't mind big miles.

Mk5 astra diesels can be picked up for around £4000 on a 04 plate with around average miles, they are good to drive, a lot bigger inside than they look, fairly large boot (we can get the pushchair in ours and still have plenty of room for shopping much to the fiancee's delight and my dismay!!!! oh and they are 5* NCAP rated!!!

Thanks for the replies, never really crossed my mind about the Seat Ibiza. May well look into them. However, it really depends on how much we will get for the Ka.

Cheers,

Mark

Marky, how about a Black Fabia VRS, would look good with 2 black VRS's on your drive
