Hi,

Off to France camping tomorrow - bought a set of eurolite beam deflectors but lost the instructions!

Anyone by any chance able to describe where to fit them on a 1999 Octavia? Or better still anyone have a pic?

If you look at your headlight straight on, you need to place the deflector just under and to the left of the position of the main bulb (on both sides).

See below (deflector shown in red, the circle is the main bulb and the rectangle the headlight unit)

They are fitted the same on both sides, i.e. you don't need to fit it in reverse.

also it details this in the manual i found out the other day. make sure you take them off when you are back as when i got my vrs one of the last owners had left them on and they had literally welded themselves to the lense. I had to literally rub the lenses down with wet and dry working through grades till the deflector glue had gone then buff out the scratches with rubbing compound and polish

I think you can alter them from behind the lamp on 2004 A5 models you can
