Croft BTCC 19/20 June

Featured Replies

Anyone fancy going to it?

I'll be there, as ever somewhere in orange Fireproof overalls. :)

Sunday is normally best for Racing as it's mostly practice/qualifying on Saturday. It normally starts 9:30 on Sat, and 12 pm on Sunday.

P.S. For people driving through Yarm, remember Leven Bank Bridge is still closed.

Sorry, No discount. I have no idea how much it is to get in, because as a Marshal I have never paid to get into a Mortorsport event yet, (Unless you call the Autosport show as one).

I'm afraid also, I have already had requests for my complementary tickets from my friends (when I get them this week).

:swear::swear::swear:

hoping for free tickets , just waiting for a txt will let you know if im coming or not!

Free weekend pass in the post , courtesy of north eastern tyres,

Ill be there too courtesy of a friend and Dunlop :)

I've been there this afternoon, as the support races were testing all day.

Leven Bank Bridge now is open. The work has been finished 3 weeks early (makes a change).

I'll be there tomorrow in my vRS. Where are you guys getting these free tickets, wouldn't mind some myself!

Hope to see some of you around tomorrow anyway.

You might not see me as I've been posted under the trees at "Esses out" - the marshal's post before Sunny in. However you may see me in my black Furby at 11:20 ish when I drive round the track to Sunny.

I'll watch out for you then and give a cheer as you go by haha.

Spotted you today Jim H. I was walking in to Croft as you were arriving at the circuit. I also saw you parked with the other marshal's and then got a photo of you driving round to your marshall spot but it was with my phone and its rubbish quality.

Was there for Saturday and Sunday.

Plato did well to get a point in the last race :)

what a cracking day, the racing was brilliant , touring cars by far the most exciting my favorite has to be the porsches they were extremely fast and sounded fantastic.

i think i may have seen your car in the car park gaverick has it got red rally style mud flaps on.

the only bad thing about the day i forgot the suntan lotion and im burned to fook , my face looks like a pandas with big white rings round my eyes!

No that wouldn't have been me. I was parked on the camp site up the road. Sun caught me out too I'm like a boiled crab. Loved all the action today, those little Clios are great, going round corners on 3 wheels, did you see the way they were accelerating when doing brake warm ups?!

Loved today, Very impressed with Rob Collards driving and the weather :D

Thanks. Where were you sat?

It was a good day. Well done Mr Jordan, a win at last!! especially after the bad luck at Oulton. I didn't think Pluto got a point, I thought he was last. Matt Neal felt a bit better as his rival had a poor result. Matt stopped with me with a flat tyre.

I was on the bank looking over Hawthorn. Plato got a point for fastest lap in the final race, and I'm not surprised he was absolutely piling in to Clervaux, shame about his puncture.

The Clios are great to watch, but I find the Porches a bit boring tbh. The Ginetta juniors are full of action too.
