Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino...?

Out of interest, do any of the dealers on here have any example quotes for (personal) leasing on the Fabia 2 vRS?

£4k deposit doing 10,000 miles per year works out at on a 3 year PCP to £198 per month.

Is that on Solutions?

Yeah, kind of makes sense to do it on solutions unless you've got a hulking great big deposit or are really focused on the lowest APR possible. In which case 2.25% HP is worth a look, the 0% is fine but you need a 50% deposit and it's only over 24 months so it ends up being a fair bit each month, which I realise is only my opinion obviously everyone is different.

TBH £200 a month is about my limit when it comes to car payments anyways , if I had the 4K deposit now I'd be interested , maybe next year or the year after - im in no rush to pension off the old MPI at the moment.

Old Fabias are getting hard to get now. I wanted a 16v Comfort/Elegance for my sister who is learning to drive recently and they don't seem to exist in the trade. Not sure where they all go or if people just keep them.

Don't rush into buying a vRS anyway, especially if you intend on keeping your cars for some time.

I guess people must keep them , Ive had mine over 5 years now and still enjoy the ownership of it (I must do , before the Fabia , i hadnt kept a car longer than 2 1/2 years , and ive had 19 cars!!) Im still undecided on whether I should just keep it , get a Mk1 vRS SE , a new FL Elegance TSI , an Octy II vRS.... or wait till I can afford a brand new Fabia II vRS. :(

A guy I work with has had his for 5 years too and it's a pristine vRS. Doesn't want to part with it I reckon. I suppose that's hardly surprising when it's a diseasel and compared to the new one it's much better !

I am tempted by a a new Fabia vRS estate but at £16495 I can get an Octavia vRS for similar money...

hey are those the standard skoda alloys? or after market ones...

i have a 07 Fab Vrs here in Nz, i do really like your allooys..

thanks

Once the VRS has been out for a while will there be more room to manouver on the prices?

I understand the VRS is new, but the Fabia II is running on effectively the same platform on our 6 year old Fabia and feels the same. I like the look of the VRS a lot. An estate in silver with standard silver alloys would be a good car for de-badging and surprising people. But it's hard to justify when other Fabias have the No VAT deal.

An SE estate 1.2 DSG is something like 4,500 to 5,000 pounds cheaper (on the no VAT deal) than the VRS 1.4 DSG estate.

I can't see how the VRS is 5000 pounds better. It's a big difference.

Or are there big discounts to be haggled at dealers on the VRS?

The last internet price I saw was £14100 for the hatchback so I would expect a dealer to match that.
