If i had a spare 6 grand.

When it was imported from CZ less than 5 years ago it sold for £600. You can pick one up in working order in CZ for £500......there was one on the Skoda owners site last week. They are an interesting vehicle though....but £6k????!

The price is out of order, far too much but the vehicle looks totally ace. The seller has put a lot of work into it but it is obvious that he is trying to cash-in on the current high demand for retro-campers. I reckon it is worth about £3K -£3.5K. I need to get my ass over to CZ pronto.

So feel free to try and buy one for £500 in CZ, then see how much you spend importing it and doing it up.

Import is about £500 if you fly and drive. Getting documents etc to UK spec is not a lot of money either. That particular van was driven over and then sold for £600!

The one I saw advertised last week was quite smart and already done up as a camper..........

Looking at that interior i don't think 6k is too much over what it would cost you to get another one fitted out to the same sort of level / quality.

Yeah you could get one for £600 but how much to then fully fit it out as a camper???? A good 4-5k i would say for a good quality job.... Plus the cost of respraying the whole vehicle as this one has been.

I dont know about cool, but it is the sweetest vehicle I have seen

This one is the same vehicle I drove from Czech and sold for £600, but it didn't need any welding, being in excellent condition. The chance of finding one in this condition now is not good.

The camper conversion looks very well done, whether it's worth the asking price is down to personal taste and how 'different' you want to be !

It isn't the only one in the country, there's another in Cornwall, that one is an original Slovak-factory-built camper complete with factory manual on how to put up the extending roof.

Possibly the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen but it is super cool!
