Getting used to the beast

Featured Replies

Had the Octy for 10 days now -thought the performance had decreased  No, it's me - normal Octy vRS performance is now the norm and my brain has accepted that fact :D:D:D

Did Stirling - Inverness - Stirling in the last couple of days. 370 miles, average speed 57 mph, average fuel consumption 37.8 mpg. Impressed :thumbup:

Speed limiter in operation - younger son started shouting if I did over 80

down the A9 i assume...are they still a bit antispeed on there?

as far as the speed limiter goes....they get over that ..in germany doing 146 down the autobahn with swmbo in whiteknuckles phase and scrutineer junior in the back shouting faster faster :D

Up the A82 via Crianlarich, Fort William and Loch Ness - fantastic roads

:D:D

Down via the A9 - speed cameras, lurking Feds and unmarked Fed cars. That, coupled to 40 mph mobile Tesco road blocks, meant that my average speed from Stirling to Inverness ( all on single carriageway roads) was 1 mph slower than Inverness to Stirling (mix of single and dual carriageway roads)

Fuel consumption Stirling - Inverness was 4 mpg worse than Inverness - Stirling :D:D:D:D

:D:D
