Car was quick going up the strip. Once youve got it running right you will smash the 14s barrier.

with 195bhp mines acheived a 14.44s with 97mph terminal 1st gear launch in 2009 :p

Try and jump the starts, try and pre-guess when its gona change, you mess up, you get another go

Not Too Shabby that at all Jason & as stated above , With better/cooler conditions & a few running tweaks , Im sure you can improve on that

Yeah, I never jumped a start, and was never too sure if the clock started when the light went green or when you actually began moving....? At least I know the pod will start timing when moved only.

No idea on the mongrel, but estimated at around 270bhp. The golf had Jabba's GT25 conversion and was also running Nitrous - The owner told me it was after me beating him last year with nitrous which inspired him to go out and get the same kit.

ahh so you had nitrous on last yr? how much is that kit?

I used it a bit this year too, but it didn't seem to do a huge amount. Looking at roughly £350 all-in for the kit, with an 11lb bottle.

as i beat one by a similar gap that was 210bhp at a 1/4 mile day :8

His profile says 200+ bhp, so probably a remap and a couple of other bits? perhaps 220bhp
