VRS seat cleaning

Featured Replies

Im trying to get my seats clean again, alot of people probably share the same problem my seats have a grey tinge to them. What products actually work? Ive used a dirt buster from homebase, auto glym interior shampoo and turtle wax interior cleaner.I know removing the seats and then the covers would be best i havent really got the time to do that.

I find AutoGlym interior shampoo works quite well on my seats. Do it on a hot sunny day and it will dry out quikly if you get it too damp.

I have read that carpet shampoo machiines (eg VAX) do a good job, also if you carefully remove the whole seat covers then stick them in the washer they come up very clean.

lol?

My advice is some get some cheap in a can interior cleaner and use LOTS of elbow grease to work the foam into the fabric and then use a clean sponge+water to extract and rinse it out. Worked for me. :)

Autoglym Hi Foam interior is best stuff i have ever used.

Rent a rugdoctor for 24/48 hours, does a brilliant job and you can do the house carpets/sofas too.

hi,i always use stardrops in a bucket of warm water and apply it with a nail brush, then use a vax (or equivelent) no dirt spots whatsoever and a vax full of minging water.

the best thing ive used is Stains R Out

spray onto micro fibre and wipe, comes off nearly straight away and doesnt leave any water marks but it gives your arms a good work out lol
