16 inch "Sirius" alloys for the New Octavia

Featured Replies

I've ordered a new Octavia with the optional 16 inch "Sirius" alloy wheels, however, I've not been able to find any images of the wheels. They're not even shown on Skoda's own website! Has anyone seen a photo of these wheels? If so, perhaps they would be good enough to post an image.

Hmm. Not strictly on topic but I think I prefer the current solid-style (can't remember name) 16" alloys, as fitted to elegance trim levels. I may grow to like the new ones though.

Monkeyhanger,

Many thanks for the image of the Sirius alloys.

Simon,

Yes, I agree. The current Octy 2 Elegance spec alloys are very attractive. The Sirius alloys are slightly less attractive, although, I'm sure they'll grow on me. They will be a rarer sight than the Elegance "Vega" 16 inch alloys!

I'm looking forward to taking delivery of my Octy 2 in Mid-End Jan 2005. I've gone for a 1.9tdi Ambiente in Corrida red (solid) with the aforementioned alloys, cruise and the small leather pack. I can't wait to have cruise again, this being a feature missing from my current company car- a 406 tdi.

For the same monthly leasing rate I would have only been able to select a bog standard "S" spec 1.9tdi Golf. Although the golf looks attractive externally, the "S" spec kit levels are extremely mean when compared with an Ambiente spec Octy 2; which is also cheaper!
