Bloody Hellfire, AwesomeSarah is no more!

Yes, bit late I know, but things haven't gone to plan here (need a new ECU, yay  ). Just thought I'd say, it was a pleasure to deal with you and Awesome generally when I bought my suspension, and it was great to meet and chat with you at the January rolling-road day. Glad to see you'll still be around though, and best of luck in your new job, and indeed your new home...all the very best for the future!

AwesomeMike, hello! You will no doubt be responsible for me losing some of my money in the not-too-distant future :giggle:

So, one gone, one just starting, but good luck to you both

Hey , yes a tad late , but I will let you off as I know you work away ;)

Was thinking about you earlier actually , as I am looking to sell my car , and the bumper on the rear had a little bit of paint coming off and i know yours IIFC is the same colour as mine (stone grey) and you went on to the vRS rear one didn`t you?

I am old , but have mad ideas LOL

Still around , but the best thing is , as I dont work for Awesome anymore , I can tell people what I think of them , and Andrew , was a pleasure dealing with you ;)

Thank you for your kind words , I must admit , I set off to go to work today at 8,10am , and was early....stunning!!!!!!!

Was home approx one and a half hours earlier than usual too

If I can help , as you can tell , I am still around

Sarah

I am still Awesome , so i get told

Haha thank you! :D

I'd love to help, but my car is Graphite Grey, a bit darker, and in any case I didn't hold onto the old rear bumper as it was a bit 'bent' where a not-very-good bodyshop repaired it :dull: Plus, my car is on the mainland getting a new ECU fitted, while I am car-less at home. Ah well.

That's the best way, mad ideas are the most fun!

Likewise, any way I can help (I'll probably have a few other Fabia lying around soon-ish...) then I'd be glad to. Thanks, will keep in touch! B)

Do you have many plans for it?!

I haven’t as yet :D but I am worried about how remapping might affect the ADS and Sports Diff. The ADS is the ‘drive select’ package and alters engine response, steering weight (and gearing!), suspension dampers and also affects how the rear differential works. It is a sort of torque vectoring thingy and can transmit 10% extra road speed to the outside rear wheel in corners!! There is an animation on the Audi site explaining the whole thing. It kinda makes sense when you watch it. I wonder how a remap will affect the way the ADS engine settings work? The engine response changes quite noticeably when you adjust the settings. Oh it’s the 240ps version of the 3.0tdi.

Hi Amanda,

See I am not even saying a thing and here you are asking :p I will check with the boss man when he is back in (next week) and see what his views are :D
