Fabia is falling to bits.

People want more from there cars, but don't want to spend any more money, so some things have to be made with money in mind - Simples

No disagree there. The majority of consumers haven't got a clue 'till they are told by the marketeers what they want. The markeeters and financiers just fliter out and slow down the application of engineering improvements for the sake of the profit and loss account.

For the most part, as far as cars are concerned, the depth of enquiry resides at the level of question as to "What colour of musical ashtray do you want ?". - as evidenced by the re-design of the masterati rear light cluster when they pushed for the US market (See Clarkson on old TG episode) I suspect that this approach isn't confined to the tin box sellers either judging by the leading questions i get put to me by the cold-call telephone marketeers, including IPSO/MORI !!

You can't have consumers interfering with the suitably slow progress of the monolithic multinationals.

P.S. I am writing this whilst looking at the bottom door surround of my 7 year old AEG chiller fridge which is trying as fast as it can to attain full metal oxide status.

"You honestly think your pointless rant about basically nothing is going to change anything? Do you even think someone at Skoda who could possibly change anything would read it? Dont be so short sighted.

If you actually took the time to think about it, what you are getting for your money when you buy a Skoda is a lot. Seriously some people are never happy. You make me sick."

I will try to me more constructive in my reply than the person who posted the above. I do hope that they do not have a heart condition because as there postings become more abusive so does the risk that they could experience a seizure.

The facts of the matter are that Skoda Marketing Department does read this Forum and yes I do think that they take notice of criticism. The only problem is that they appear to be taking their time. It is not good publicity to fail to rectify known faults.

Funny you should say that , my Mum bought an Ignis fridge , just after I was born , and guess what? Yep , still going strong (even the same bulb in the interior light from new!) and no sign of rust.....oh , and I'm 41 years old today! Thats what I call getting your moneys worth out of something!
