I have a Fabia Vrs and was thinking about changing the exhaust, was woundering what ones are available know about the milltek, and the option of a no go i mean powerflow.

just thinking about the same myself, Jason has a powerflow system on his furby (ok it's not a vrs) and he's happy with it.

I'd be interested in other peoples views too.

Jabba and AMD both do full systems but it's about the

Milltek Sport cat back system from AMD seems to be the cheapest at the moment. Is this what you have fitted to yours Ross, anyone else have any views or comments?

Remember this is a CAT back system....not sure what Ross has.

The Jabba/Blueflame system includes a dp and 100cel cat......can't seem to find the pics I posted....will post them again once I've found them.

Did try to get a group buy going...I think we had 3 people interested.....for 5 people we can get a good discount.

Edited: forgot to say that I believe the dp is where the most gains are from.

no need for a cat lol just take it out and be a real man ;)

could do but I cant be bothered with putting it back on come MOT time. Hey I'm lazy what more can I say!! :D

No legal requirement to have one.

No legal requirement to have one.

there isn't I thought there was, I learn something new everyday!! :D

What are the pro's and con's to each? I'm a bit of a bimbo when it comes to this sort of thing!

Maybe not, but it would probably fail an MOT on emissions without one I would have thought.

yes but you dont need one for 3 years so just stick it back in

I have the Blue flame system fitted with down pipe, plus sports 100cel cat. No torque problems. 450nm/330lbsft easily achievable.

Uprate the clutch and you could have more.

I was told by a mechanic that the diesel emissions test is basically a soot test. AFAIK, the cat won't reduce this so if you have a remap you will potentially fail the MOT, regardless of whether you have a cat or not. Obviously I might have got the wrong end of the stick, etc, so it will be interesting to hear from someone who can confirm/correct.... :D

Your right Chris.

Is that a decat down pipe?

Bear in mind there are two milltek cats available and they do differ substantially in price. Firstly I had the milltek sports cat which lasted about 1000 miles before the insides of it shot out my tailpipes at mach2. I now have a special milltek race spec cat which they are talking about puutting into general production. Reckon the sports cat would be okay on a standard or just remapped car.

I'll think I'll leave it to the new year and save up some money and go for a whole system and maybe upgrade the clutch at the same time

Is the race cat the metallic one? I think thats what was developed for my car. When Phil from Milltek had my car originally he told me the cat would retail at around

Hi Ross - its a sports cat down pipe. Just re-read your earlier post and realised you were referring to torque going down with decat as oppsoed to sports cat. cheers.
