Last night driving my vrs home from work,a bloody great big deer leaped into the road in front of me...results radiator grill smashed,Skoda badge gone,headlight brackets bust.

Pleasantly suprised how strong the bumper is(covered in deer gunge but undamaged),as it was rush hour no one wanted to stop and assist,so i had to leave a stunned Bambi at the side of the road :eek:

Now waiting to hear from my insurers designated garage...bang goes my

Bit of a national dish in Norway. Should have shoved it in the boot and nipped over there to flog it...might have paid for the repairs!

Chris couldnt pick it up, roadkill laws here are that, If you roadkill, then the driver behind can pick it up and claim it. :(

Last year came around a corner and two deer ran out from the side of the road, a motorbike coming toward sme had no chance and he hit one of them. He went down and his bike came sliding towards me, i stopped then something landing on the bonnet. It was a the intestine and stomack of the deer. It was foulest thing ive ever seen, it was in a pile like a dog crap steaming away on my bonnet. Ewwwww!

Biker was ok just a little shaken, deer was still kinda living too which was suprising, but a local farmer stopped and cut its throat and removed the bits from on my car.

Good to see u and the car survived ...About 3 years ago i also hit one of scotlands finest deer alongside the lake of menteith vv twisty fast road:) car pretty bad but repairable ....volvo 480 turbo ...imagine my suprise when getting the car back went out for a drive turned the blowers on to de mist a foggy screen and wuffff deer fluf came flying out the air vents .....lovely

Many deer related accidents/near accidents over the past twenty one years for me/family in Scotland - heart stopping moment when I nearly hit one when I was on my motorbike.
