Its petrol..So no direct comparison

Max bhp @ 6200 rpm = 180

Max torque@ 2000 to 4500 rpm = 250

No..

Thats just the max power figure

It redlines at 7000+bhp but loses power near the limiter

English please 'ChrisR's'

Getting there slowly, all I want to know is the REV counter on the dashboard will have a red line to mark maximum rev's.

What numbers represent maximum rev's. ??

Are you saying red line is at 7,000 rev's ?? Yes- - - No !!

Thanks for your patience dealing with a wooden top. LOLemoticon-0136-giggle.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gif

My Ibiza, std map but running prototype Forge intake kit (which should fit the Fabia when its released).

Was 184bhp standard on the rollers, 193.4 after intake and intercooler fitted (same rollers but next day, not confirmed on another RR yet but noticeable difference)

Hey Ross! That's mighty impressive. This intake kit sounds interesting too B)

Very impressed thus far, the scoop at the front is a lovely bit of engineering.

Just a bit off thread boys!! :wonder:

Going that way but my post was on topic as it related to the vRS and power/revs.

Off topic - it was my mate Pauls car at Combe :-)

Does the vRS (or the Cupra) have a FMIC, SMIC or is it charge-cooled (water-air) like the 1.2TSI?

FMIC but its quite short.

I didnt know that Ross. Thanks

I asked on another thread, but go no answer. I guess the vRS will have the same.

P.S I'm enjoying reading your thread about your car on SCN.
