5.pug 306td m reg 3/10 crap

6.vw golf d m reg 6/10 solid and reliable

and now i have my furby only had it four month so cant rate it yet

My list is going to be a little shorter although hard to rate now as each car served its purpose at the time

1 - 93K Rover Metro 1.1S - ex-demo so 'fully loaded' with sunroof, five doors and decent stereo - performance was rubbish, brakes were a joke, cruised poorly but it never let me down during my student and graduate years so still have a soft spot for it. 4 out of 10

2 - 99T Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI GLX - great cruiser, incredibly economic and so much space plus amusing to see the looks of people who thought Skoda were junk particularly a VR6 owner who recognised a lot of the parts. 6 out of 10

3 - 04 Seat Toledo 1.9 Sport TDI 150 - having driven many miles with the Octavia I wanted something with a bit more power and a lot more toys to keep me entertained while driving. So I was after an Octavia L&K estate but after not having much luck and a deal with a Superb that fell through (due to the garage being a bunch of idiots) I took the Toledo for a run and loved it, the huge turbo lag made for a satisfying rush of power and the car was stupidly fuel efficient and cheap to run. 8 out of 10

4 - 56 Skoda Octavia TDI VRS estate - with the arrival of a new pup it was time to reluctantly part with the Seat with the Octavia being the obvious choice, it's great for walking the dog, cruises well and has a few more toys but it's a bit soft and detached when driving it and unable to match the older 1.9's efficiency and low tax - 7 out of 10

John

G reg Ranault 5 1.1 - Really had to watch out for puddles in the wet as it hated moisture, once had to 'sail' it into work by holding the door open and half pushing it when it cut out in the rain... Alos ate driveshafts.

V reg Skoda Felicia 1.3 - Great car, only ever fault was when the throttle cable snapped, and that was because someone had but it on the wrong side of the pedal at build and it was rubbing on the bulkhead.

52 plate Skoda Fabia 1.9TDi - Loved it great small car with plenty of punch.

53 plate Toyota Yaris 1.3 - Was swmbo's and I got it when I traded my Fabia in for her brand new Yaris. Liked it a lot, nippy and not that bad handling. Only it was too small for me needs/wants.

56 plate Skoda Octavia vRS TDi - Absolutely love it. Had some niggles but best car I've owned. Get loads of people saying how nice it is... And how well it moves... :giggle:

Mk1 Fiesta 1.3 supersport with 1.6 XR2 engine fitted - 7/10 - Rust bucket, but fun. My old man sold It for £100 while I was doing my army basic training :(

Mk2 1.1L - 1/10 - free (guilt) replacement from my parents for selling the supersport....complete bag of cow muck.

Pug309GTI - 9/10 - pride& joy & my first car to properly modify. Handled like It was on rails.

Mk3 Fiesta 1.6SI - 6/10 - fun, very underpowered for the chassis, but loved the seats.

Mk6 Escort 1.8SI - 7/10 - was Ok untill the battery leaked & ate a hole through the bulk head.

Renault Clio 172 - 10/10 - Fantastic car!! Quick & fun, never gave me a problem over the three years I owned It. Reluctantly had to sell due to starting a family. Wished I had put something on the end of It now.

Mondeo Derv GhiaX - 4/10 - Suffered with the doors & boot seams rusting, which was a common fault on the 02 registered mondeo's & an Injector broke costing £470 for a new one :o.

Mk1 Octavia vRS - 7/10 - Would be a higher score, but I've been quite shocked over the 4yrs of ownership over the huge amount of common faults these have  .

1.) Vauxhall chevette, 2/10 really bad car in almost every respect.

2) renault 18 GTS 6/10 really liked this car, very difficult to get it MOT'd every year though

3) fiat croma turbo 6/10 again, really liked it, so unreleliable though

4) saab 900 turbo, 6/10 great car, messed with the boost levels and blew a hole in a piston though, not as strong as the fiat engines :(

5) fiat uno turbo 8/10 unbeleivable. running high boost, as fast as almost anything i've driven, but bloody dangerous handling.

6) isuzu piazza turbo 1/10 pre lotus version, so bloody dangerouse, i spun it 3 times in first few weeks and sold due to fear for my life.

7) lancia thema turbo 9/10. this car was fantastic in every way. had the integrale engine. I would have another today......

9) vauxhall corsa 2/10. bloody terrible.

10) ford focus (mark III) 2/10 ok to drive, but I had 4 new cars in three weeks, the reliability was THAT bad.

11) citoen saxo VTR's (3 of them) 7/10 great to drive, but expect a new gearbox every 40k.

12) skoda fabia vRS 8/10 great car, loved it, bit unreliable though (needed a new gearbox at 40k lol....) and crap customer service/warrenty.

13) fiat grande punto sporting 10/10 best car i've ever had so far. 100k of happy motoring, speed/handling/equip/safety/reliabilty, top notch

14) fiat 500 1.2 sport 7/10 perfectly adaquate for a £10k car, but not what I would choose myself, now an abarth, that would be a different story!

I'd fill the internet if I wrote a small review of every car I have owned, so I'll pick the best and the worst...

The best was a Series 1 Citroen CX GTI Turbo.

Massively unreliable, it cost 300 quid every time it broke down, (and that was a lot of money 20 odd years ago) but it was supremely comfortable and remakably fast, it once brought me home from mid Wales ( 99.8 miles ) in 57 minutes, and I took it to Bordeaux on a whim, practically non stop, and got out of it feeling like I had driven 5 miles. The feeling of going down the Mulsanne straight at max speed ( 140 mph showing on the clock ) will stay with me forever. I still miss B723 UCP.

The worst....

G666 EJX. A brand new Escort 1.8D GL. It was a total pile of sh!te in every respect, I only kept it for 3 months.

1 1988 Astra 1.3 merit 1/10 had really bad brakes and had an engine from the older model.

2 1996 Rover 214 SEI 7/10 had it for 60k miles and serviced it twice, never let me down and pretty rapid.

3 2002 Mondeo 2.0TDCI Ghia X Estate 8/10 Luxurious, pretty quick and really good on fuel (till my missus crashed it twice)

4 1999 Toledo 1.8 3/10 car was an auction special and broke down loads

5 2002 Ocy VRS 9/10 Just bought it as a cheap family car but it has become so much more than that.

I have driven hundreds of other cars mainly brand new hire cars of various sizes and specs and I still love getting in to my VRS afterwards. Will be treating myself to one of the MK2 VRS's within the next few years.

1st An old works van, an early 90's Astramax petrol van, great fun right 'till the end  7/10 (on reflection I'm surprised I didn't kill myself in it)

2nd 1990 2.0L Sierra Saphire, my first decent car, really liked that car, T-boned by an idiot driving too fast. 8/10

3rd 1995 1.0L Fiesta, times were hard, enough said, not sure what it lacked the most, reliability or performance. 0.5/10

4th 1998 Vauxhall Astra 'Envoy' 1.7TD, no frills motoring at it's best, economical and never let me down, bet it's still going somewhere. 7/10

5th 2005 Ford Focus 1.8 tdci 'sport', a mistake really, awful gearbox, 6/10 bought in March, traded in in October (losing 3 grand in the process) for...

6th My current car, which is bittersweet because it was fantastic value for money 9/10, but I don't know what I'd get next, if they were cheaper

I'd go back to where I started, with an Astra van, bet the more powerful 1.9cdti is good fun.

Had soooo many cars. I'll just do the last 7 years.

1. 97 Honda Prelude 2.2 VTI Black. Always wanted one of these, & it didn't disappoint. 4 wheel steering is superb, Handled like it was on rails, quick too. 8/10

2. 97 Lexus GS300 mk II. Sport Red. Really nice car. Luxurious, & refined. Completely troublefree uber reliable. Addicted to petrol stations though! 8/10

3. 99 VW Golf Mkiv 1.8T red i 5 door Satin Silver. This car started off my love of VAG cars. 18" R8 alloys & tints. Nice looking car, but it was a bit of a boyracer magnet. 7/10

4 2000 VW Golf Mkiv 1.8T red i 3 door Indigo blue. I joined ukmkivs.net & soon plunged wallet first into modding . Revo stage 1, 18" R32 alloys, R32 steering wheel, & interior trim. Anniversary front valance, & side skirts, Projektzwo rear valance, Stainless cat back. K&N panel filter, N75j, Forge 007p, N249 bypass. Sold to get the Anni. 8/10

5 2002 VW Golf Mkiv 1.8T Anniversary Tornado Red no 1763. Revo stage 1, K&N panel. This was such a great car, & I still miss it so much :( When I sold it I sulked for weeks. 10/10

6. 98 Honda Prelude 2.2 Motegi Red top Silver. Black leather with silver piping. 1 owner 33000 miles FHSH. I got this car for £2000, & sold it 6 weeks later for £4000. It was absolutely mint. The lady I bought from had only used it for shopping trips & to visit her parents. She had never gone over 4000 rpm, & had no idea what Vtec was! She nearly had a heart attack when I test drove it & took it into Vtec!! 8/10

7. 2000 Audi A3 Quattro 3 door Blue. Really nice car which came with 77000 miles & FASH. Black heated leather, ECU-Evolution remap, Piper X panel, new style RS4 alloys, Miltek Audi TT Exhaust. This car was stunningly quick, way quicker than any of my Revo'd Mkiv's. More refined interior than the Golf Mkiv. Was great in this years snow too. 9/10

8. My current 2002 Octy VRS Silver. I was so impressed with the ECU-Evolution map on the Audi A3 that I got this one mapped by them too, & it's really good. I actually prefer it to Revo! Haven't done much to the car yet other than replace the stereo with Pioneer DEH-55BT headunit , Pioneer front & back speakers. Gotta say I'm really enjoying the car, it's so smooth & quiet. I'd like to get the back end a bit lower so that's the next thing to do. 9/10

During this time my wife had a silver Bora 130 sport which she had from 2003 unitil Sep 08 when she totaled it on the M4 see link. http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/248561.aspx

Don't think there are many cars that would go through an accident like that & the driver just suffer cuts & bruises! She was very lucky indeed. A testament to how well VAG cars are built.

When she was finally ready to drive again I bought her a 2004 Focus Ghia 2.0 TDCI which was a pretty good car, but she never felt comfortable in it. I replaced this with a Black BMW 320d M Sport in May 09 which is probably the best car we have ever owned & a real drivers car 10/10. We sold it in June 2010 as I needed to free up some cash as work was a little slow. This has been replaced with another 2003 Bora 130 sport, but in black this time. She feels safe in it, not surprisingly.

1. Peugeot 306 1.4 Meridian. First car grand little jobby got me from a to b (most days :giggle: ) but nothing special. 4/10

2. Fiat Punto 1.3. Just a little runaround i bought after i melted the headgasket in the 306. Only had it for 3/4 months never had an issue. 4/10

3.Peugeot 306 D-Turbo. Fine machine. Nice to drive with a lttle bit of welly. Had it for about 2 years never had to spend a penny on it. Perfect reliability. 6/10

4. Peugeot 306 GTI-6. Unreal! Like a fookin go kart on the corners. Can't imagine myself ever having another car that will make me smile so much. Easily one of the best Hothatches ever produced. Will have one again someday hopefully. 10/10

5. Skoda Octavia vRS MK1. Very comfortable much more so than the 6. Very nice to drive, if a little dull compared to the GTI6. Well, i suppose that's not a fair comparison as it's not in the same league. Still quite nippy and still a blast to drive though 8/10

Mini 850 Estate, but then didn't everyone of my generation own a Mini!!

Morris 1300, rusted away of course, but was rallied and trialed with no mercy.

Morris Marina 1300 Saloon, wouldn't go round corners other than with a brave heart and a prayer, but great with a growing family.

Austin Maxi 1750HL, the model with twin carbs. Stupidly quick, but better on the straights than the curves. Set a very quick time up Prescott when I was a Timekeeper and someone had knocked the Finish Line lights over. Great tow car!!

Skoda Rapid 1.3 (D 876 FYE) Bright yellow and went like sh!! of a shovel. An ex Skoda District Manager's car I bought after the end of the RAC Rally that was based in Bath, on which I had been in the Service Crew. The only car I've ever been stopped by the Police for doing over a 100mph. And I got away with it!! (said it was quick!!)

Nissan Prairie, company car and totally horrible.

Several Ford Escort 1.3 company cars, bland!

Skoda Favorit 1.3 Estate, Bought when they changed the tax rules and my Company gave us a nice little sub to buy a car instead of using theirs. Again bought following a Rally with Skoda UK. Went on and on with hardly a problem. P'exed at nearly 90k for a

Skoda Felicia 1.3 hatchback. Excellent car, that we eventually gave to my son when he went to Uni, and finally got written off 2 years ago after being hit by a lorry and drag.

Land Rover Series 3 LWB Station Wagon. Mid life crisis!! Loads of money trying to keep the tin worm at bay, but still great fun.

Rover 216 non turbo diesel. Actually not a bad car and surprisingly quick. Written off on the M40 on Christmas Eve by a "gentleman" slamming into the back of it whilst we were stopped dealing with casualties at an RTC. Turned out he had no insurance and was wanted on drug supply charges, but did a bunk!!

Rover 418 turbo diesel saloon. Not bad really considering it was cheap.

LR Freelander 3 door diesel. We'd mover to Wales and I needed something 4x4 for deliveries from the shop, but didn't need anything too extreme. Went to prove that all the stories about Freelanders aren't true as it hardly cost me a penny and was part exed with nearly 100k miles for a

LR Freelander Td4 5 door. After the experience of the last one this was a logical continuation. Much better model, but still an excellent vehicle. Regularly off-roaded with 4x4 Response Wales and regularly embarrased it's bigger 4x4 cousins. Part exed at just over 80k miles for

Skoda Yeti 140 bhp diesel, collected last Thursday.

Ok, not many in 6 years of driving :-

First 1992 Mazda 323 1.3LXi...Thst thing was mad..group 7 insurance and it shifted. I still think Mazda do something special to their engines to make them outperform similar cars!! It died as I didn't fill it with oil... 7/10

Then I had a 1997 P Citroen Saxo 1.4i SX. Barry boy blue..a sunroof and leccy windows. Loved it, got me into Saxo's 6/10

Then came the 1998 R Citroen saxo 1.6i VTR. Lowered to the floor, in white. It was by far the best car I've owned, but on the flip side the most unreliable. I'm still paying off the repairs now. Sold it for less than I owed and my parents had to pay for the repairs as I took it to a stealer to be fixed...:( 9/10

Then came the 2000 W plate Seat Arosa 1.0 S. Bright yellow, slow as anything but was the quick purchase from getting rid of the saxo. Served a purpose! 6/10

Next, a 2003 Skoda Superb 1.8T Comfort. Loved it, ex-police and the fastest thing I had had. Turbo power!! Added 17" Elegance wheels and a new stereo and that was it. A great car for the money and I enjoyed owning it! Got to 115k in it and it started to go wrong so I handed it back to the finance company 7/10

I then bought a 2006 06 plate Vauxhall Vectra 1.9CDTi 150bhp SRi in black. awesome to look at and to drive, especially with a diesel tuning box onboard. It was however stupidly unreliable with the swirl flaps, alternator and various other faults. I got rid after 1 year. 4/10

My current 2005 Volvo S60 2.0T Sport. Metallic grey, half leather, loads of toys and I have had it RICA mapped to 225bhp. It's now a monster and I love it. 94k and still going strong, easy to maintain and fun to drive! 8/10

I'm now hankering after a Audi A8....big, comfy, good looking and lots of toys!!!

Here's my list - slightly Skoda biased!

1. M reg Skoda Favorit 1.3 LXie in White - had been in the family from new and got passed to me as my first car. Needless to say as it was my first car and I loved it - had 89K on the clock when I first got it, and had over 125K before I gave it to my sister. She kept it until it had 141K on the clock. It was still great but my other younger sister didn't want it so it sat around for a year before being scrapped  6 / 10 (for sheer reliability and service)

2. R reg Skoda Felicia 1.3 GLi in burgundy - bought this to get back and forward to work in - it was a cracking car which I didn't have a huge amount of respect for. I crashed it twice  It did me well except for that, and I was surprised with what I could keep up with. Again cracking reliability despite some abuse! 5 / 10

3. P Reg Skoda Felicia 1.6 GLXi in Blue - nicknamed "The shed" - I was broke after two crashes and ended up buying this, which did look like a shed inside. I put a new interior in from another felicia, did up all of the terrible scraches on it, and even took it to France. It was quite quick too! 6 / 10

4. R Reg Skoda Felicia 1.6 GLXi in Silver - R274 OAD - replaced the shed listed above with this when I had a bit more money. Had quite a few less miles and the luxury of electric windows. I kept it until it nearly had 100k on the clock and decided I wanted an Octavia! 6 / 10

5. 52 Reg Skoda Octavia 1.6 Ambiente hatch in silver - the worst car I owned. I had really wanted an Octavia for years and this wasn't the best introduction. Continual problems with engine management and running problems. A coolant hose went - the only Skoda to have ever left me stranded in all the 22 years of travelling in them. Luckily the garage swapped it to my current car. 1 / 10

6. 02 Reg Skoda Octavia 1.6 Ambiente estate in racing green :smirk: - currently very good and I am very pleased with it. I hope it serves me well until I can afford the insurance on an RS :D

I might be slightly biased towards Skodas - I have driven a lot of other makes of cars and still like Skodas! Mind you the first Octavia I had nearly put me off!

Not been driving that long, 6 years.

1. - 1999 Citroen Saxo 1.4 - Fairly good, cheap first car. Build quality not superb, handled reasonably (at least i thought so) = 6 /10

2. - 1999 Honda Civic Vti Coupe - World Of Vtec began. Great car, spent a lot on it so worked really well. Sad to see it go. = 8/10

3 - 1998 Honda Prelude 2.2 VT - More powerful Vtec. Tuned. Great car until wiped out one night parked by outside the house by a bus, thanks for that Eastern Counties Bus Services! = 8 / 10

4 - 1998 Ford Mondeo ST24 - Expensive to run, unreliable, pig on the road = 3/10

5 - 1992 Vauxhall Nova 1.1 - Uber heap to run, comedy value, became a cult icon among friends, only purpose was to get to get around while i plowed every bit of cash i had into a house. Eventually scrapped. = 9/10

6 - 2001 VW Golf GT TDI 150 - Loved it, the torque, the MPG like nothing id owned, and fairly modern compared to the rest. Sold because i changed jobs to a race circuit and stupidly found the need for track cars and speed = 8/10

7 - 1999 Nissan 200SX S14A - 10K & 600 bhp later, ended up being destroyed by a friend sadly, didn't last to long. Quickest & most scariest thing i have ever driven. Made me smile every-time, until the turbo needed rebuilding, or the clutch went, or the head cracked (it goes on) etc etc . = 9/10

8 - 2001 Honda Integra DC2 Type R - Amazing. Perfect. Everything I wanted. Purchased off my boss, sold back to my boss because i needed a diesel due to longer distances. Owned this car the longest. faultless - 10/10

9 - 2004 Skoda Fabia VRS - Life & Attitude changing little car. Quite simply love it. Took a gamble on something i knew little about, everyone joked at me for, and feel great for it. So far so good. 10/10

Richard,

I'll look out for you, and you can't miss me, I think I've got only the second Yeti in the area, and the other one is white.

1. 1993 (L reg) Vauxhall Nova 1.2 sx (first car), first year had no problems with it then everything seemed to go tits up after that so sold it to some chavs to get rid of it

5/10

2. 1993 (L reg) Vauxhall corsa sri 1.4 8v, great car and never had a single problem with it, the old 8v engines were hard as f**k !

6/10

3. 1998 (R reg) Vauxhall corsa sport 1.4 16v, even better than the sri being that touch more modern, loved it but unfortunatly crashed it (I'd probably still have it now if I hadn't !!!!) 8/10

4. 2005 (55 reg) Peugeot 206 sport 1.4 16v, my first brand spanking new car which was pretty poor looking when standard but after some new wheels and suspension etc etc it was looking like a gti180  9/10

5. 2007 (07 reg) Peugeot 206 GTi180 2.0 16v, my second brand new car which was the LAST GTi180 registered, very nice car that was pretty fast but nothing amazing ! nice interior with bucket seats but they were rock hard and back braking ! drank fuel like no tomorrow so it had to go !!!

6. 2006 (06 reg) Skoda fabia VRS 1.9 8v, loved it since first buying it nearly 2 years ago and has not once let me down, cheap to run with excellent mpg, may be for sale very soon though :'(

age year car rating

17 2005 saxo 1.0l first 1/10

17 2005 corsa 1.2 ls 1/10

18 2006 306 hdi meridian 8 /10

19 2007 fabia vrs 9/10

21 2009 corolla tsport 9/10

22 2010 hybrid fabia vrs 9.5/10

Here is my short list - have been driving for 6-7 years:

1995 Citroen Xantia 1.8 8v - First car, very comfy. Was worried about the hydraulic system, but it was everything else that failed. Engine was solid as a rock, had 240k km on clock, and sold at 280k km. Had it for 1½ year. 6/10

2002 Skoda Fabia 1.4 MPI - It had A/C and CC. Very happy with the car, but not very economic when travelling 70+mph. Was doing many miles, and had to get something else. Had it exactly 1 year. 8/10

2006 Skoda Fabia Combi 1.9 TDI. Simply the best car, and i don`t feel any real urge to swap it for anything else. Reliable as can be, and has done 120.000km so far.

Only niggle is the gearbox, but no biggie. Quite fast with a tuningsbox, roomy and reliable - perfect. Had it from new. 9/10 (because of the gearbox)

1. 83(Y) MG Metro - 7/10 - First ever car, loved it !

2. 89(E) MG Metro - 1/10 - Rust bucket...was stationary more than it moved !!

3. 89(E( Vauxhall Cavalier SRi 130 - 7/10 - first proper fast(ish) car, loved it. Trouble free.

4. 90(G) Vauxhall Cavalier GSi 2000 - 7/10 - nice upgrade from the Mk2 Cav, was very nice, trouble free.

5. 98® Vauxhall Vectra SRi - 5/10 - Got a good deal on this one, few niggles, camshaft/crackshaft sensors etc..

6. 91(H) Vauxhall Nova GSi - 4/10 - Shed...fell to bits !!

7. 89(F) Sierra Sapphire Cosworth - 10/10 - Awesome car, cost a lot to run, but not 1 single issue throughout owning it, would have it back in a second.

8. 98® Subaru Impreza Turbo - 8/10 - Great car, sold it through boredom though.

9. 00(V) Honda Civic VTi - 6/10 - Nice car, never let me down and trouble free.

10. 00(W) Subaru Impreza Turbo - 5/10 - rough round the edges, but served its purpose.

Skoda Felicia 1.3LXi - 8/10 (was my first car and loved it, never went wrong in all the miles I did in it)

VX Astra 1.4 3/10 (didn't like the steering at all and felt a bit feeble after the Felicia)

VW Passat 20v Turbo - 9/10 (a near perfect experience did 34k in 9 months only problem was an ABS pump failure)

Audi A8 4.2 40v - 7/10 (lovely car and not bad on fuel, costly to replace bits of suspension to sure knocks)

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 10/10 (car wasn't the best car in the world but I went on an awesome trip to Nordkapp in it and it performed perfectly, fond memories!)

Nissan Patrol 2.8TDi - 4/10 (drove it back from Inverness, drove it another 40 miles decided I hated it and got rid of it, good offroad though)

Ford Capri 2.0 S - 7/10 (hilarious and very reliable, taught me a lot about rear wheel drive)

Mercedes S500 - 9/10 (a great car, colour was a bit lairy for an S class though..)

Ford Capri 2.0 Laser - 4/10 (this one was a bit crap and kept going wrong)

Mercedes S600L - 10/10 (for me, motoring perfection. V12 power and built when Mercedes where making proper cars, went all around Europe in this)

Mercedes E240 Elegance - 5/10 (a very meh car, not enough power)

BMW 540i - 6/10 (stupidly bought a manual, clutch too heavy and not actually that quick)

Mercedes 450SLC - 7/10 (cool old car, didn't go wrong but was a bit wrong because it's the coupe and the cabriolet is much cooler)

Audi A6 2.4 - 1/10 (epic fail, multitronic gearbox. What where Audi thinking...)

Landcruiser 4.2TD 24v - 4/10 (great engine but manual gearbox which I couldn't get one with)

Landcruiser 4.5EFi 24v - 7/10 (excellent truck that will go anywhere but 8-12mpg isn't exactly great...)

Volvo V70 T5 - 6/10 - (nice enough, not as quick as you'd think but a nice enough drive)

Crappy old Clio - minus11thousand/10 (my friends car that I borrowed for a bit and was terrible)

Mercedes E280 - 6/10 (nice enough but the economy was worse than the 3.2 and it isn't as powerful)

Range Rover 4.4 - 3/10 (most things broke and fuel economy was bad as expected really)

VX Astra CDTi 6/10 (fond memories, obviously I hated it but it managed 10.08BTG at Nurburgring...)

and pretty much every single Skoda ever made since 2003. Apart from Octavia 1.4 16v (never even seen one)

I'm sure there are a couple more cars that I suspect I've chosen to forget about.

Best car I owned myself almost undoubtably the S600L and best work car I've had I think was the Superb Elegance 2.5TDi.
