If its more sound fruity sound you want, why don't you try the 'mufflerectomy', and get them to use your standard tail pipe? Basically it just removes the backbox from the system which is replaced by a straight pipe, and you can leave the cat in place.

Remove the cat for mild gains and very little extra noise.

Remove the backbox for more mild gains (possibly slightly more then removing the cat alone) and MEGA noise increase

Remove both for the best gains and a SUPER loud exhaust and expect your turbo to be working overtime from the complete lose of back pressure... :(
