White isn't as good at keeping the 'clean' look as silver is but it's not far behind. In saying that, it's certainly the better colour isn't it lol.

Having owned a lot of the 'normal' colours available (black,white, dark blue,dark green, red, silver) i would put them in that order for looking clean:

black looks superb when it's clean - but it doesn't stay that way for long!

white also looks good and stops cleaner for a bit longer - but still looks cr@p when dirty IMO

silver is a different kettle of fish altogether - even when it's not been washed for a month+ and is minging, it doesn't look very dirty at all.

Would love to have spec'd the wheels to look like this.

Fabia's have an option for this. Why don't Octavias? :'(

Had my white vRS for almost two weeks now, and clocked up 1200 miles. It's still looking surprisingly clean, only the rear end of the car has any visible dirt. Much better then I expected for a white car.

Five weeks into the order. Just spoke with the dealer this afternoon. The build week has come forward to week 39! Lovely jubbly. Although I am reliably informed this could change and go back a few weeks. Roll on October!

I've never really understood the criticism white cars get for showing up the dirt.

I've had my fair share of different car colours over the years, the best for looking clean being silver, followed closely by my current white car.

My black Scout is right at the other end of the scale however!
