Poor/no radio reception

Featured Replies

Over the last few weeks my radio reception has slowly got worse and has now gone totally. Has this happened to anyone else?? What did you to to fix this? I thought it was my s2000 ariel that was causing it but swapping it back to the original made no diffference. Thanks

Probably the signal booster built in to the aerial base - they suffer from water ingress and corrosion of the circuit board. The solution is a new aerial base.

maybe came loose in back of headunit also

worth a check :)

How much is a new aerial base, as I think I have a similar problem... still with OEM aerial.

Thanks

Around £35, for an aerial base and mast.
