Hi all,

I have recently bought a Mk 1 Octy 1.9TDI elegance estate, and it is my first Skoda. I have owned VW's in the past (same car now I know).

Since finding this forum I am now tempted to start saving some money and attempting my own repairs and stuff.

I will be new to this as I have always had someone else look after the mechanics and repairs etc.

So please look after me and bear with the stupid idiot questions I may throw on here every now and again. Ill obviously look for similar queries first so I'm not asking the same questions over and over.
