Hi Everyone

I'm a new member, and have been a Skoda Owner for 15-20 years, I own a Fabia '52 1.9 tdi plate' a present and now fancy a new skoda,

I cant decide between another Fabia Estate, or a Yeti?

Any help / view most welcome

Thanks

A big Welcome Deanna, and glad to see you are considering another Skoda.

I have the 1.4TDI Fabia Estate and really love the car...which is strange as I'm a total bike freak...ok, just a freak! But the Mk2 Fabia is great fun to drive and the 3cylinder diesel motor is very powerful. So, I'm biased and I haven't yet driven the Yeti. I guess you should try them both and see what you think. Keep posting to let us all know what you decide upon. Good luck.

Thanks very much, i'm getting on a run with my 1.9TDI 62 miles per gallon, (with a run to my dads 130 miles each way) and running around town, i'm getting 500 ish to the tank, what are you getting on yours?

If i got another Fabia Estate is the 1.4 powerful then, as I have 2 greyhounds and an another dog to pack in plus kids ect, wouid it be powerful enought or should I be thinking about the 1.6?

The more I think about it and the vat free offer that they have on the the moment the Fabia looks better than the Yeti ( and that by the looks of is has a long build wait).

What do you all think?

thanks

Thanks very much

Hello and Welcome I went from a Fabia 3 to a Yeti, changed because I wanted to a tow a caravan, Both are excellent, enjoyed driving the fabia with the 1.9 pd engine good acceleration in town driving, but of course the Yeti is a better car for caravanning, it up to evaluate what you are going to be using the car for. If I had did not have a caravan I would have been more than happy to keep my Fabia 3. What ever you choose I'm sure that you will enjoy either.
