ARB bushes are a completely different thing to the console bushes I'm afraid mate.

Sorry... :(

Lol, don't be sorry! I have no mechanical awareness at all! :giggle:

Anyone got any ideas how much ARB bushes and droplinks would cost?

Try Jorily again - they were best last month when I did our TDI. ARB bushes depend on diameter so check before ordering (ours were approx £6 for pair). Drop links more expensive about £25. Well worth it. Car now so smooth. Both jobs easy to do, but ARB bush on N/S is a knuckle destroyer - there are torque settings for this, but how you can get a torque wrench on I don't know, so just go by the feel of the other side.. Oh, the nuts on the original drop links are 16mm and the replacements are 17mm. HTH

First thing - "rewind tool" - NEVER USED ONE - on all the cars I've ever owned - I've just placed two levers on both sides of pad and exerted pressure - pad moved out , mostly enough to allow new pad to go in . And fluid returned to cylinder to make up difference .So no need to replace missing fluid .Perhaps I'VE BEEN LUCKY - Perhaps I've been a victim of a myth ,or a hoax- but I've never had to resort to a rewind tool .

You've not had an MX-5 then...
