My Fabia 2 Estate

Featured Replies

Hi all,

It's been nearly a week since I purchased the Fabia so I thought I would stick up some pictures.

It is a Brillaint Silver Fabia 2 1.4 TDI on a 08 plate.

The pictures were taken down in the East Lothian coastal town of North Berwick.

Aye since I bought the car, I've spotted a couple of silver estates, and a few others in other colours.

Funny how you notice other cars the same as yours once you've got one. It was the same for me when we bought ours...hadn't noticed any others the same colour as mine until ours came along! Your's is very nice by the way.

Looks good Davy , any plans for it , or leaving it stock?

it looks very high, a bit like a scout but without the plastic trim.

That's normal ride height. Mine will be about the same. Though he's taken the pics from quite low down, so it may make it appear higher than it actually is.

Planning on leaving it stock, apart from a few Skoda extra's, the ride height is like that just the angle I was taking pictures at!

My plan in my head is I've got to keep for at least 3 years before I purchase a new car, with my record I've been going through a car a year and a half since 2001!

Shouldnt that be the East Lothian town of North Berwick ?? :p

All the same, A lot nicer than the C-Max boyo :)

Suits the silver.

I always laugh when people say a car sits high, its an estate so its supposed to sit high so you can load it up :giggle:

Hi all,

It's been a week so I thought I would give the car a clean, wash, wax and polish, got to admit I'm pleased with the results, the polish I used was Autoglym Supin Resin Polish.

Also my neighbour next door was out having a look (fellow car enthusiast) and was looking over the car, saying how well it was put together and how high quality the car is.

Here are some pics from yesterday.

Indeed!

Well it's been a week since I cleaned the car up and it's filthy again, with no rain and the builders two doors up it's a waste of time doing it as it is so dry and hot, I'm just looking through the skoda parts to add to the car, thinking of adding some mudflaps to the car and door protectors to break up the silver of the car.

Just thought I would update you all with my latest little subtle addition.

I popped into my Local Skoda Dealer on the way back from work the other day in the hope of ordering some parts for the car and much to my surprise the part that I wanted were there, I ended up purchasing these Skoda Mudflaps. I think it really works with the Brilliant Silver. I also managed to purchase some mats as well which Skodagirl1985 stuck in the car for me but I never managed to get a picture of these.

I've also got Briskoda number plate surrounds and the Brisky sticker fitted as well, and I will get some pics later on.

I've got some more parts to buy like parking sensors and a some more interior goodies to come.

Cheers

Davy

I managed to blag the mudflaps when ordering mine, nice to see them on, they look good and aren't to obtrusive.

Still waiting for mine to be built :'(

Well I've been busy again, I decided to paint the calipers and drums today, in Hammerrite Smooth Green, will have to get some pics up but the fronts look ace, not so sure on the drums being green but it's certainly diffrent but my next door neighbours had a look at the drums and thinks it looks good, been a while since I modded a car and it felt good to be working on the car instead of the house, big thanks to National tyres who had to remove the rear wheels as the alloy had rusted onto the hub, but thats all sorted now!
